Mariah, in the United Arab Emirates, is a burgeoning island that is home to residential and commercial areas with luxury centres and hotels. Thirteen bridges connect perfectly every area to major access transport routes and to the capital, Abu Dhabi.

The island’s name, Mariah, is deeply linked to Abu Dhabi history. It originates from an old green oasis which in time became lush. Once it was the home for hundreds of Al Maryah Arabs.

Neri took part in this great project creating the promenade lighting along the sea at the foot of the skyscrapers. Alphard was born with this project. It is a simple, linear pole with smooth lines that, once painted in white, fits in perfectly with the futuristic glass structures.
