Hydra system, designed by Makio Hasuike, is the synthesys of comfort brought to its best expression. Hydra suits perfectly the city centres thanks to its spheroid shape and can add an unusual, dream-like, almost lunar touch.

Hydra in Senigallia

Senigallia has chosen Hydra to replace 230 luminaires that illuminated the promenade, embellishing the streets that depart from its famous ‘Rotonda’. Hydra represents the completion of a refurbishing process that brought Senigallia back as a top destination on the Adriatic sea ‘Riviera’.

Technology

Hydra is equipped with 25 blue LED and glass treated with remote phosphor: when the blue light shines through the glass, the light gets warm and comfortable.

Hydra e ADI

Hydra was nominated for the ADI 2013 prize ‘Compasso d’Oro’, the most prestigious Italian design award. It has therefore been exhibited at the ‘Triennale’ of Milan, and will become part of the permanent collection of Italian design.
