The creation of a product is not a linear process but a shared activity, with different dimensions, often beginning with the news of new technology or the suggestion of a designer, the request of an architect, the bright idea of a technician, or an invitation to take more care by a production supervisor. Then innovation takes shape and the prototype begins to attract more and more attention to itself, followed by responses and enthusiasm. Next come the trial stages, the road tests for the new concept, which after passing these exams, then moves straight on to the next stage, that of industrialization and meeting its targets. The Foundation’s knowledge, Laboratory tests, simulations in the Light Room, experiments on materials and technological partnerships have led to the right actions and to scoring yet another goal!
