Among vegetable furniture, creativity, green design and installations, the aristocratic court of Palazzo Cusani has been transformed into a garden that is also a vegetable patch, a factory of ideas and an oasis of well-being. The four elements are here transformed into a hymn to beauty and pleasure that nourishes body, mind and spirit.
Fire, water, air and earth are the protagonists of a 400 sqm fascinating exhibition, literally an immersion in nature, a sensory journey through architecture, objects, ideas and renewable raw materials. Hemp, wood, stones, straw and minerals are mixed with steel, terracotta, cement to become objects, furniture, urban gardens and paths. The aristocratic surroundings are transformed in an oasis of well-being, pleasure and good taste in the heart of Milan.
Hydra, with its spherical shape, adds an unusual, oniric, almost lunar touch. The LEDs warmed up by the phosphor light the garden respecting its natural colours.
Hydra has been selected for the prestigious award Compasso d’Oro, it has also been part of the ADI show at the Milan Triennale and is now part of the permanent collection about Italian design.
