Cold fusion and visual comfort

Design for the lighting sector is characterised by several constrains including to abide by a series of economical and technical requirements. In the next years, however, the situation could significantly change following the new experiments applied to the so-called cold fusion, an easily controllable, safe and low cost nuclear reaction.

2030 is considered the breakthrough year for the use of this clean technology obtained without emitting harmful radiation and toxic fumes produced by fossil fuels. Not needing to care about energy efficiency anymore, designers will then be able to focus more on quality issues, aesthetics and visual comfort.
