The German Design Awards are among the most coveted prizes on the global design scene. Founded as a foundation in 1953 on the initiative of the German Bundestag, the Council for Design annually honours outstandingly well-designed products and excellence in communications design.
Among the nominees for the German Design Awards 2019 are both Brenta collection by Emo design and Lang by ÅF Lighting, which convinced the independent jury with their aesthetic design, pleasant feel and groundbreaking approach to urban lighting.
