Gianpiero Lepreti, architect and lighting designer, opened Studio Lepreti in 2001 with the main aim of investigating the relationship between light and architecture. Together with Adriana Ciaccio, he promotes ProgettoEùMédia, a design-experimentation workshop. The stylistic features of this experience are then represented in technical lighting designs for interiors as well as residential and industrial architecture. The studio also creates energy plans and lighting plans aimed at self-sufficient energy use. In 2003, the studio won the Neri Award, an international competition for light and street furniture designs.
